Community Guidelines
CasiornThinks is dedicated to one goal: making modern AI understandable without the noise. We are glad you’re here to join a community of smart, curious people who want to understand how these systems actually work.
We’ve created these guidelines to ensure that our comments section remains a place of clarity, not confusion. Whether you’re discussing a chalkboard explainer on YouTube, a deep-dive podcast, or a blog post, we expect everyone to follow these rules.
How to Contribute (The Good Stuff)
Be Calm.
The world of AI is full of hype and fear. We want this space to be the antidote. When you comment, try to lower the temperature, not raise it. We value measured, thoughtful responses over hot takes.
Be Mechanism-First.
We are here to understand the architecture, the papers, and the behavior of these systems. When discussing a topic, ask how it works before arguing about whether it’s good or bad. Curiosity about the "why" is what brings us together.
Be Accessible (Don’t Jargon-Flex).
Our audience includes professionals, policymakers, and curious adults who might feel "behind". Do not use complex terminology just to prove you know it ("jargon-flexing"). If you use a technical term, explain it. Help us bring people in, not shut them out.
Show Your Work.
Just like our content starts with real sources and papers, your comments should too. If you are making a claim about a model’s capability or safety, back it up. Link to the paper, the benchmark, or the specific timestamp in the video.
The Rules (The "No-Go" Zone)
We are trying to foster AI literacy, and we will remove comments that add noise to the signal. We have a different standard than the rest of the internet: we prioritize learning over engagement.
1. No Jargon-Flexing or Gatekeeping
Do not mock others for asking "basic" questions. Do not use obscure technical language to shut down a conversation. We are here to reduce intimidation, and gatekeeping does the opposite.
2. No Hype or Fear-Mongering
We strictly moderate comments that spread baseless hype ("AGI is here tomorrow!") or paralyzed fear ("We are all doomed!") without technical grounding. Keep the discussion tethered to reality and current capabilities.
3. Personal Attacks & Harassment
Critique the code, the model, or the argument—never the person. This applies to other commenters, the creators of the AI tools we discuss, and our team.
4. Spam & Self-Promotion
If you are here just to drop a link to your own AI tool or newsletter, it will be deleted. If you have a tool that is genuinely relevant to the conversation, disclose your affiliation clearly.
5. Misinformation
AI hallucinates enough on its own; we don’t need human help. Intentionally spreading falsehoods about how models work or what they can do will result in a ban.
A Note on Moderation
Our team works hard to keep this space "serious and clear". If we feel a comment is increasing the "noise" rather than the "signal," we reserve the right to remove it.
